The Newport Open Cup has been contested since the very first tournament in 2015. Every September, 11 years of champions' names live on this trophy — a tradition unlike any other in Rhode Island amateur golf.
The winning team earns the right to hold the Cup for the year — and the responsibility of defending it the following September.
